Recent Happenings

I have finally decided what my research project will be. Starting next semester, I will begin work on a project in the area of natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES). My project will be co-advised by Professor Perry Li and Professor Arthur Erdman. I am excited to begin work on my project and am looking forward to the future of this field.

I have now completed my first two weeks as a graduate student at the University of Minnesota and so far it is going pretty well. I have been interviewing with several professors in the attempt to find that one project that peaks my interest (and has funding...). Hopefully I will find that right professor with the right project soon!

Both the manuscript I wrote for the Journal of the Air and Waste Management Association and the one I wrote for Environmental Science and Technology have been accepted and should be published this summer/fall.
